Trek Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Kasol + Trek to Grahan Village
Distance : 5–6 kms | Time : 4–5 hrs
Arrive in Kasol, the beautiful town in Parvati Valley, and begin your trek towards Grahan Village. The trail passes through dense pine forests, small streams, and scenic mountain paths. Grahan is a peaceful Himalayan village known for its traditional culture and stunning surroundings. Reach the campsite by afternoon, enjoy dinner, and relax overnight.
Day 2: Grahan to Min Thach
Distance : 7–8 kms | Time : 5–6 hrs
After breakfast, continue trekking through thick forests and open meadows. As you gain altitude, the views of Parvati Valley become more breathtaking. Min Thach is a beautiful high-altitude meadow campsite surrounded by alpine scenery. Spend the evening enjoying the calm mountain atmosphere.
Day 3: Min Thach to Nagaru Camp
Distance : 6 kms | Time : 4–5 hrs
Today’s trek takes you closer to the Sar Pass summit. The trail becomes steeper and offers stunning views of snow-covered mountains. Nagaru is one of the most scenic campsites of the trek, located amidst alpine meadows and snowy slopes. Rest well here as the next day is the summit crossing.
Day 4: Nagaru to Sar Pass Summit to Biskeri Thach
Distance : 12–14 kms | Time : 9–10 hrs
Start early before sunrise for the most thrilling day of the trek. Climb steeply towards Sar Pass (4,220m) and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views from the top. After spending some time at the summit, descend carefully through snow trails and enjoy the famous snow slide descent. Reach Biskeri Thach campsite by evening, surrounded by wide alpine meadows.
Day 5: Biskeri Thach to Barshaini + Drive Back to Kasol
Distance : 10 kms | Time : 5–6 hrs
After breakfast, begin the final descent through forests and village trails towards Barshaini. The trek ends here, followed by a short drive back to Kasol. Arrive by evening with unforgettable memories of the Sar Pass adventure.
