Trek Overview
The Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is one of the most sacred and spiritually significant pilgrimages in India. Covering the four holy shrines — Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath — this divine journey takes devotees deep into the majestic Garhwal Himalayas. Every year, thousands of pilgrims undertake the Char Dham Yatra to seek blessings, spiritual purification, and moksha (salvation).
Set amidst snow-capped peaks, holy rivers, ancient temples, and scenic mountain valleys, the yatra is a perfect blend of devotion and natural beauty. The pilgrimage traditionally follows a clockwise route starting from Yamunotri, then Gangotri, followed by Kedarnath, and concluding at Badrinath. The temples open every year between April/May and October/November, depending on weather conditions.
